چکیده

Groundwaters circulating in Upper Mesozoic carbonates are of great interest for geothermal heat production and storage applications the Geneva area. This study aims at providing new insights proposing interpretations about mineral-water reactions fluid-flow paths mechanisms across Basin (GB). Data from previous studies combined improved by ones collected cold hot springs exploration wells 2018 2020 framework GEothermies program HEATSTORE project. Major ions, trace elements, isotopes Oxygen, Hydrogen, Sulfur, Strontium, Carbo have been analysed results show that sampled waters a meteoric origin, carbonate aquifers act as preferential host rocks waters, partial contribution Cenozoic sediments can be observed some samples. The Jura Mountains Saleve Ridge main catchment areas an evolution pure Ca-HCO3 footprint springs, to Na > Na-Cl composutions, is two wells. residence time order few years reaches up 15–20,000 deep

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Mesozoic basin inversion in Central Alborz, evidence from the evolution of Taleqan-Gajereh-Lar paleograben

This paper presents evidence on Mesozoic inversion of basin bounding faults within the Taleqan-Gajereh-Lar Paleograben (TGLP) in Central Alborz Range. For this purpose, well documented stratigraphy data across the TGLP together with the new acquired structural data on the geometry and kinematics of the paleograben basin bounding faults are utilized. The TGLP has evolved through the Early and Mi...

Fluid flow through carbonate platforms as evidence for deep-seated reservoirs in Northwest Australia

Fluid flow features in carbonate platforms of the outer Browse Basin, Northwest Australia, are investigated using 3D seismic and borehole data. During the Cenozoic, the study area evolved from a carbonate ramp to a rimmed platform with isolated carbonate build-ups; as such it played a key role in focusing fluid on their buoyant flow to the surface. Statistical analyses of direct hydrocarbon ind...
